The GEO Group Foundation
The GEO Group Foundation's mission is to support the community and charitable involvement of employees and facilities of The GEO Group. The foundation is committed to supporting, growing and developing communities where The GEO Group, Inc., its subsidiaries or affiliated companies operate facilities.
The Foundation pursues this goal by making charitable grants to local charitable nonprofit organizations, schools, and public entities to help them meet their philanthropic goals and public purposes. The foundation seeks to help deserving children realize the dream of higher education. To this end, the Foundation grants scholarships to help children pursue educational opportunities that may otherwise be unavailable to them. The Foundation is governed by a Board of Directors dedicated to providing opportunities for students, schools and organizations who demonstrate innovation, integrity, and commitment to excellence.

GEO Foundation & FCCC Help Renovate Local Emergency Room!Cathee Ford Florida Civil Commitment CEnter In 2009, Florida Civil Commitment Center's (FCCC) Facility Administrator, Tim Budz, and DeSoto Memorial Hospital (DMH) CEO, Vince Sica, participated in the Inaugural Class of Leadership DeSoto. Sica is a longtime resident and active community member in Arcadia, Florida. Budz is new to Arcadia, having spent most of his career in Chicago. Although FCCC had been sending its residents to DMH for years to obtain medical care, Budz and Sica's participation in this ten month class for community leaders was the beginning of a new partnership.
